7th FEB 2023 – AvatarUX, the award-wining games studio, has further extended its milestone distribution agreement with a subsidiary of Light & Wonder, Inc. (NASDAQ: LNW) (together with its subsidiaries, “Light & Wonder”) to include an even broader allocation of its portfolio.
The agreement announced in 2022, which initially saw both companies collaborate to create eight new bespoke games over a three-year period, will now mean popular, portfolio titles, including smash hits CherryPop™ and MonkeyPop™, will be made available across Light & Wonder’s OPENGAMING™ platform, one of the world’s leading digital casino ecosystems.
This agreement will greatly boost AvatarUX’s player reach and will see some of the studio’s top performing titles being launched in new markets and jurisdictions, such as North America. The collaboration with the global leader in cross-platform games and entertainment, Light & Wonder, will contribute to expanding the distribution of AvatarUX’s immersive games portfolio by allowing the Studio to launch its top-performing titles, together with its unique PopWinsä mechanics, to new players in 2023.
Nicola Longmuir, CEO at AvatarUX, said: “Light & Wonder is an iconic iGaming brand, and our collaboration has already born significant success.
Strengthening our partnership will see us roll out some of our most popular hits to its network, further increasing both our brand visibility and our revenue streams. It will allow us to launch a diverse portfolio in top markets like the US and offer some of our top games to the players there. It’s a fantastic step for us, and we’re confident we can continue to add value to Light & Wonder.”
Steve Mayes, Digital Head of Partnerships at Light & Wonder, said: “Our relationship with AvatarUX has already proven to be a success after only a few short months. We’re thrilled to expand this further to include additional top-performing content that is hugely popular with players.
“AvatarUX is one of the most exciting emerging game providers in the industry, and we’re delighted to be working with them more closely than ever.”
