AvatarUX has released Pots of Power: Mummy’s Treasure, a Hold & Win title set inside an ancient Egyptian royal tomb and built around a Pre-Bonus Wheel mechanic that fundamentally changes how the bonus round begins.
The game follows the Mummy Pharaoh, a devoted figure gathering gold and gemstone offerings to awaken his slumbering Queen. The base game runs on a clean 5×3 grid with 25 paylines and a visual bonus symbol collector: every Bonus Symbol that lands is drawn into a golden pot above the reels, building anticipation across the session. The bonus triggers randomly whenever at least one Bonus Symbol is present on the grid.
What happens next is what sets this title apart. Before the Hold & Win round begins, a three-disc Pre-Bonus Wheel spins to determine the bonus configuration from 27 possible combinations. The three discs assign the number of respins (3, 4, or 5), the grid size (5×4, 5×5, or 5×6), and the number of Power Frames active during the round (2, 3, or 4). The wheel reveal is a high-drama moment in its own right, with each disc stopping in sequence to a crescendo of audio and visual effects before the Hold & Win starts.
Power Frames are the defining mechanic of the bonus round. These Golden frames move to new random positions before each spin. When a frame lands on a cell containing a coin, it adds its value directly to that coin. When two or more frames become adjacent horizontally or vertically, their values combine, creating escalating upgrade potential as the round progresses. Frames are colour-coded across three states: blue, yellow and red, giving players instant visual feedback on the power level of every active frame.
If the entire grid fills with coins, the round ends immediately and a Full Board Multiplier is applied to the total coin value: x2 for a 5×4 grid, x3 for 5×5, and x4 for 5×6.
The game supports three RTP tiers and a full Xpress Hub including Ante Bet at 1.5x, Buy Bonus at 100x, and Bonus Premium at 500x cost for the maximum configuration of 5 spins, 5×6 grid, and 4 Power Frames. Maximum win potential is 10,000x stake.
